750-850 depending on track for the Cup cars and approx. 100 horsepower less for the Busch cars.

Busch series cars use 390 CFM carburetors, and Cup cars use 750-850 CFM. There used to be a huge difference in horsepower several years back, but Busch series motors now use a full roller camshaft and lifters. Cup engines are still using flat tappet lifters. These differences (and a few minor others) equate to about a 100 horsepower difference, with the advantage given to the Cup motors.
