Honey... You are SUPPOSED to sing through your nose.
THe reason why some people can sing and some can't is because some of us are that way naturally.
When you open your mouth to sing... The sound is being molded and the air is being directed through the mouth... But the sound comes out of your nose and resonates from the top of your skull.
