    A goober

Cheaters stay for various reasons. I believe that if a cheater stays in a relationship with the person being cheated on, it is mostly b/c he or she is cheating for something that they may not receive in their relationship, and they are merely trying to receive it elsewhere without changing an otherwise enjoyable situation. Some stay to avoid the negative aspects of leaving and may fear financial consequences or social outcast from their mutual circle of friends. People who get cheated on and keep the cheater in their lives are usually afraid to be alone, genuinely feel the cheater can reform, or may also fear the negative consequences as well. Either way, both people involved get hurt when infidelity is involved, and only the two people in that relationship know for certain why one or the other is staying.

    • sex!!! that what everyone thinks, but the marriage I am talking about is with a friend of mine, she has had an affair for over ten years, the man she is cheating with has been married for 7 or 8 of the ten.. so it makes me wonder why? Why would she allow him to cheat(my friend) or why does this guy cheat? why did he keep in touch with her, after he got married? thanks +5
