Yeah just sucking the life out of all our 18 yr old kids. The most ironic thing about the supposed "increase in troops" is that we have had that many there before and it didn't help then, why does he think it'll be different this time? The man takes denial to new levels.

It's the last grasp attempt for a failed plan.
Once this fails, all the air will be sucked out of the US occupation strategy and those responsible for this strategic blunder and the other decision makers involved will be highly discredited.

Actually, In the Navy, you can goto Afghanistan or Iraq depending on which job you have. If you were to go into the Sea Bees or SEALS then you can pretty much count on seeing the desert. Anywhere in the Air Wing is also a good bet to go to the middle east. I hate seeing stupid people posting about what military life when a good portion of the posters on here know nothing about it.

And for the entire war, AF has been used as convoy drivers and security at bases. They were even taken from their jobs to work non-volunteer tours of 2 years.
