boo! It's protecting your country! How dare you be such a coward and say that the risks are too high!
by The Wade on July 7th, 2007
I'm not being a coward, I'm being sensible, why would you put your life on the line for a war that shouldn't be fought?
by sleidman on July 7th, 2007
Why wouldn't fight for your country? It doesn't matter if you believe that the war is right or wrong, what matters is if you're willing to serve your country. Besides, you should support your troops no matter what. They're people too, and they're just doing their job. And over 90% of them believe in what they're doing over there, despite what the liberal media here will tell you.

I'm not saying I don't support the troops, I'm saying that I would have made the same decision as they have. Why serve for a country that is killing off soldiers without any progress or any hint of them ever coming back. I fully support the troops as do everyone else in the country but don't see how they can be so brave and courageous so blindly.

The Wade, if you are this huge christian believer then you should be against war. Mans life should not be determined by the simple finger of another man. War is pretty much pointless struggles for control. Sleidman i stand by your side, I am thinking about joining with the Navy. Not for the simple fact that I'm going to fight a war, but simply to expand my knowledge further and proceed towards the goals in life that I want to accomplish...The Wade, put the bible down and pay attention to whats going on in reality ant put your bible texts and verses into meaning with todays problems. Politics and Religion don't go hand in hand so you should choose which one you stand by before you judge....

Goodness. Much has changed since I last posted here. I feel the need to reply due to some misconception though. Christians should be against war? Says who? That's totally untrue. If Christians should be against war, please, persuade me.

if you look up the original Hebrew for the passage(Deuteronomy 5:17, Exodus 20:13), the word is murder. In that verse, as in many other verses, the KJV mistranslates.

PUSSY! This war needs to be fought! Do you want another 9/11 or would you rather join them? We fight, and yes i am a national guardsmen, cuz we wanna protect you. I'm a strong christian. i go to a lutheran school that encourages military. 82 kids have joined the military. we just want the people we love to be safe. It says in the Bible that war is necessary for the right reasons.

bravo "the wade" and "burit"!!!
most people dont fight for their country anyways, they fight for the people in it and if you dont have the balls to fight for your wife and children then go to north korea or something.
