Wrong. Atheists "believe" that there is no God. That is a belief. You can not prove that God is a hoax, so you can only believe that he is not real. Simple as that. I "believe" that you don't "believe" God is real.

Not all atheists use the "scientific method". They simply don't believe in gods or a God. That's all you need to be an atheist.
