Dean was a good ole country boy, but he BEGGED the Cardinals to break the color line for him. "We'll win 60 games between us!" he said. For a guy like him to be that enthusiastic, well, that says it all. By the way, when Satchel heard about it he said, "I'll win 60 games by myself!"
Okay, but if you insist one a major leaguer, I'll say Cy Young.
If a batter swings & misses at strike 3 and the ball hits the ground, the catcher must tag the batter or throw to first. Why?

If a pitcher is throwing 50 miles per hour from 42 feet what speed would that equate to at 60 feet and 6 inches
