Thanks for the answer. Is there, then, a way to attach, for example, a steel hull of a boat to an aluminum skeleton? It must be water-tight, so no bolts allowed through the hull!

Weld steel brackets to the hull with a flange, drilled with holes, so you can then bolt these to the aluminum frame.
