Help answer this question below.

Say I buy a new verizon wireless serviced cell phone from Ebay for an example, could I change my current verizon plan from my current phone to this phone somehow? Whether I have to activate it through verizon etc....

    yes. you call up verizon and tell them you would like to switch your service to this new phone. they will ask you for a number behind the battery. it's either theesn or the fcc id. i don't remember which one but they will tell you.

    • thank you... i thought so - ill probably just contact verizon through the phone or just go to a store... thanks for the help

    • it's cheaper to deal with the provider directly, a store has to make their money to so the bill will be padded.
      you want an ESN change
      some phones lack the ESN number so you may have to give the IMEI number instead
