Thank you. My insurance agent wants me to fax him something and I had no idea anywhere even had faxes anymore.

You can also send a fax via email, through a commercial 3rd party. I've tried it only once, using a free service. It worked OK, but afterwards I began receiving a shitload of spam. I think next time I'll just pay the $$ and hope they don't sell my email address to the spammers.
Here are the steps:
* Prepare your document exactly as you want it to appear. (Word format is fine).
* Attach it to an email.
* Send the email to the fax service.
* The fax service will fax your attachment to the final recipient.
Take your pick of a fax service:

I have to sign something and fax it, so I don't think that will work for me, but thanks.

BTW, if you have a "land line" (phone service), you can buy a fax machine (or a multifunction printer- scanner- copier- fax) and send out your own faxes via the phone line.
If you don't have a phone line, you can take your printed originals to a commercial print shop like Kinkos.
Or you can email your material as attachments to a fax service.

I had to sign my documents, too. All they see at the other end is a copy of your document with your signature.
