Wire gauge is determined by CURRENT (Amperes), NOT by voltage!
You would need to provide more information about current, or if you're not sure how to do that, look at the specs on the device. If the power output is rated in WATTS instead of AMPS, divide the amount of WATTS by the VOLTAGE. (120 WATTS at 12 VOLTS = 10 AMPS)
WATTS/VOLTS = AMPS
WATTS/AMPS = VOLTS
AMPS * VOLTS = WATTS
