It seems like everyone on here is friends with everyone else. I'm new, and I want friends! =P How does that usually happen on here?

For most users, they would like to have at least ONE (preferably more) contact with you via questions, answers, and comments.

If you request them to be friends (go to their profile by clicking their name or avatar, top of the blue box on the left is "Add as Friend". Click that) MOST will review some of your questions and answers, and usually some of your comments, and if they like the way you seem to think, will accept you.

If they request you to be friends (an orange "Friends requested" will appear in your info box, under the Answers and Comments link. Click it and go to your Friends Requests. You can review their stuff by clicking their avatar or username (be careful... The fonts are SMALL there). If you like the way they seem to think, come back and click the APPROVE. If not, click the DENY and SERIOUSLY? when it appears.

If either of you are denied at this time, later either of you can ask again.
