The Brown Trasher [Toxostoma rufum] is quite common in the United States and Canada, it is a beautiful bird. Pity we always have to build things in their known flying route and thus they crash against buildings the same thing happens with pigeons and others.
can hummingbird feeder be placed near a wildbird feeder?

i have a breeding pair of cockatiels she has laid one egg is this normal as i read they lay up to 8 and the egg is very small.

Well, the building is in the middle of a city and has been there for about 25 years so, even though it's a shame that the bird died, (yes, it was beautiful) I don't see it as we built in his flight path. Actually, I think it's just that they don't comprehend glass and think that it's just a big hole that they can fly through to go inside. We had a crazy bird hit our window at home (the home is about 75 years old) at least 100 times before it gave up trying to get in.
