Why do junior high kids have like the worst ego in the world?

    It is very common for teens and pre-teens to be self absorbed and self centered. Due to hormone levels, they are more introspective and self concious. Most of the time people who appear egotystical are only projecting this, they don't actually feel good about themselves.
