    My son took eight months to concive however after I learned to tast when my wife is about to ovulate and feel her cervixs it took two months. I am going to have my Daughter in four weeks. I was going down on my wife and noticed that she was ready and asked if she was sure she was ready for another new born she said yes then I noticed that her cirvix was almost ready (the best time to try for a girl because girl sperm lives longer in a women.) their are only 24 hours with egg but girl sperm lives four days and boy sperm two are three.
    to answer your question she was on her back for my daughter but it would not matter because I finger the sperm to the hole in her cirvix for about five min. after sex when trying for a baby.
    The frist time to have sex without a condom we got our daughter IT WORKS.
