Help answer this question below.

When i was a kid in sunday school a priest told (the class)that we will all go to hell if we didnt go to church every sunday, that was the last time i believed in god or church because not going to church is only harmfull to church(no $$), Am I wrong?

    You are not wrong. Many people turn from religion or faith because the authorative leaders are so corrupt or destructive.

    Who gives these people the right to judge you. Who made them God's authority. There is a passage in the bible that says you need to be in a church to be a true Christian (or something like that) but a church does not need to be led by someone like that.

    No one has the right to judge you in that way. I hate that we all have to pay taxes into the governments social fund and then the church still expect their 10% of your net salary and badger you into parting with it even when you are in debt and financially struggling. For what? To support these corrupt self serving leaders? To pay for their flash cars, big houses, fancy clothes or robes, and gym memberships?

    Have your own faith, you don't need to pay your way to get to heaven I am certain of it, despite what these self appointed authorities of God will have you believe.

    • No God commands we do so,read Malachi.If you don't like the old testament,then go to the new,but Jesus said if your brother is in need sell all that you have and give it to him.10% doesn't sound so bad huh.

    • It was alright for Jesus, he could go poncing off of everyone else, some of us have to eat more than just fictional manna from heaven and we can't all make wine from water or stretch out a few fish to feed a few thousand, I already pay 25% towards the poor and hungry to pay for their housing and medical costs and room and board for prisoners I don't want my money going into some corrupt priest or pastors pocket.
