I watched the race. Amazing how quickly this horse came from the back. Nice payoff for the superfecta - $557,000.

    • I've never watched it before & I couldn't believe it!! Now, I'm going to have to watch the next two (forgot what they are called) that my husband said was coming up. Thanks Ed!

    • The Preakness is May 16th and The Belmont is June 6th.
I have some co-workers who enjoy horse racing. One picked 3 of the top 4 for the Kentucky Derby, he missed the winner.

    • Loggybren, I just love to see someone discover the joys of horse racing! I have been watching since early childhood :-) A point of interest: a few weeks ago the Kentucky Derby was run and an unknown horse named "Mind That Bird" in last place surged up and won the Derby. That horse also ran today. The Jockey who rode him today rode a different horse, "Rachel Alexandra." And that is just the beginning of the story!

    • Rachel Alexandra - first filly to win the Preakness in 85 years and only the 11th to win a triple crown race :-)

    • Oh no!! I missed it!! What is the rest of the story Chicago Lady? Is it what Ed commented? Ed, I will have to put a big note on my refrigerator for The Belmont on June 6th.
