Doesnt any1 believe in 2nd chances for those who made mistakes and are trying to be better? yes i cheated on my bf but i have learned and am making things better so i can be a better person. i dont expect him 2 just take me back, i said i'd work for it.

I believe in second chances, but I don't give them to a person who has cheated on me. It doesn't matter if they never do it again, in the back of my head they will never be as trusted as before, it is a seed that will always be there, so I don't deal with it anymore. You cheat on me, you're gone. Sorry, I know this isn't what you wanted to hear, but it is the truth from my perspective. I have never cheated on another person and didn't need to do it to "learn" not to.

Well, as I said in one of my 2 answers on this Q, people have lost the art and true understanding of Christianity today.
Christianity teaches of forgiveness and trust and repentance, wherein we give people a genuine chance to redeem themselves.
God said, in fact: "I the Lord, will forgive whom I will forgive, but of you it is required to forgive everyone".
Truly forgiving also means 'forgetting'.
It means wiping it off the slate, as if it never occurred.
Sure, for you the road and process of personal change will be longer.
