ok, so how do I find the IP address and unblock it.. blocked at my end or theirs???

IP addresses can be blocked by a web site to prevent the user of the IP address from entering/viewing or using the site. Unfortunately, unless you have broadband or dsl and are connected all the time to the Net - IP addy's are floating, meaning they are assigned to the first person who logs on. I have broadband, if I shut off my computer about 24 hours my IP addy is switched, for modem and DSL I think that the IP addy switches faster since those are logged on/off as needed.
So it is possible that you have have your IP addy blocked not because of something you did, but because of something someone who had the IP addy before you did.
Usually blocking IP addys is last resort when blocking an registered member, a name, an email addy (For registration) doesn't work to keep the person out.
