President Ford in the mid 1970's promoted vaccinations against a potential swine flu during that time. Is this the same flu? What if you received that vaccination? Would it protect you against this variation?

The news said that there was no vaccination that would cover this flu and they have no cure for it currently so I doubt that even if someone took the vaccine 30+ years ago it would still be active. but the news said this was a new variation they had never seen that they didn't know how to treat

    • Thanks, that is what I thought, but did not know for sure. My parents actually dragged me into getting that vaccination years ago. Didn't do anything then and I guess it won't do anything now. LOL!
