Is the ADM chip producing more heat in laptops than the Intel chip?

    First of all, I assume you mean "AMD" not "ADM".

    That said, it's apples and oranges. You need to compare specific chips, side-by-side to find which one consumes more power, and to do that, you have to find two chips that perform similarly on the applications you are interested in running. It's a complex task.

    • Thank you. The problem was mentioned by a friend who had to change laptops due to the heating problem.
