Mine shaft construction: The supervisor wanted to know which of the pipes will give more head pressure down the shaft. One pipe is 60mm and the other 150 mm in diameter Address his concern and explain why your conclusion The Mine shaft is 350m deep.

    The pressure is equal to density of the water x gravity x height. In both pipes, these three numbers are the same. So the pressure will be the same.
