How much overtime do you work a week?

I sub contract, so I work as much or as little as I want, but I almost always work 50-60 hours a week, which for me is normal. So it is 10-20 over the normal 40 hour week, but for me its normal.

If i work 40 hours a week +2.5 hours overtime then work 7 hours on saturday should i get so much at time and half and so much double time

Hello, I have a question in regards to overtime pay and an odd work week. If an employee work say 40 hours from Mon-Thur, collecting 8 hours of overtime pay, then works Friday for 8 hours, should that be counted as overtime pay or regular time pay?

Can your employer force you to go to a school to get a license the state require and not pay you overtime? Is there a stature of limitation on back over time in Texas? Eight hours of School/ 8hours of work and some forced overtime adds up to a long week.

I work at a company that offers call back pay at 1&1/2 times my base rate... now if overtime is acheived in the same week my overtime is considered paid due to the call back recieved previously regardless of the day it was worked on! Isn't this wrong?

In california, If an employee works monday - friday & lets say they work 10hrs on 3 days & 9hrs the other 2 days, does the employee get the daily overtime (8 hrs)+ the hrs overtime for the week (8hrs over 40 hrs)?
