Help answer this question below.

An alcoholic hasn't had a drink in months but at times smells like alcohol, why? I totally believe that this person hasn't drink anything.

Depending on the length of time and how much was consumed in order to keep the odor for quite some time. It releases from the pores over time. Which means they are still an alcoholic until they pass the urges and odors.
