    "All accepting"?

    Since when?

We don't have a universal code, or any kind of rules.

I'm an Atheist, and I try to be as respectful as possible. The people you're talking about aren't disrespectful because they are Atheists, they're just disrespectful people in general.

I think, sometimes, people get worked up about their religion, because they feel so strongly in what they believe.

    Take this for instance:

I know a VERY religious Christian girl. She's a nice person, and is usually respectful.

Today, she somehow JUST found out about my beliefs. The first thing she did was start trying to prove me wrong. She asked numerous questions (all of which, I had answers for, btw). When she realized that the "conversation" was going nowhere, she scoffed, said, "Whatever," in a rude tone, and walked away.

She was being disrespectful, while *I* was not.

Like I said, it's the person, not the religion.
