    No. Naturally occurring earthquakes (Tetonic earthquakes) are caused by the shifting of the Earth's plates.

      Nature is connected with different phenomenons.
      everything is possible in nature.
      E/Q may occur due to Volcanic activity but its not a hard rule that every time this will happen, there may many more related things.

    • Answer is not wrong.Generally it occurs due to movement of plates, but every volcanic eruption is associated with an earth quake which is nothing, but magma pressure making the plates move through vibrations.
      The answer might not be complete, but it's not wrong.
