Help answer this question below.

A good friends divorce was final yesterday. His anniversary is tomorrow. Is it a good idea to try and distract him or should I let him mourn it?

It depends how he feels about it. If he is sad about it then a good long chat followed by some distraction would be the way forward. If he is over it then slap him on the back and take him out for a drink.
