I have known this guy for 5 years, he was one of my best friends and was in love with me all through high school, didnt realize I loved him till it was too late.now he is married, but he always calls me and tells me he is not happy, how do I get over him?

• WOW it took you 21 years? thats crazy! How long have you been together now? I am trying so hard to move on, but it seems impossible. I cant stand not being able to talk to him, as his wife wants him to have nothing to do with me. He is so unhappy, but is trying as hard as he can to make it work! all I do is think about him, everything reminds me of him. I am trying to move on with another guy, but its not working! thanks for the hope!

• we have been together over 5 years now. my husbands ex wife didnt like me because we were so close as friends, even though it was just friends from my point of view, the more time we spent together i realised my feelings were changing,he did end up leaving her to be with me, it wasnt right we both knew that but it happened. after a while, when things had calmed down she did say to me she knew how he felt about me for quite a while, ( i didnt realise he had made it so obvious)anyway things are just great now, his children visit regular & his ex has also moved on, so it wasnt such a bad ending, maybe i`ll get downrated for this comment but, hey like i said everyone ended up happy.
