I was kissing my bf goodnight, we had like a 10/15mins making out session and I felt it was the right time for me to tell him I love him, so I said "I love you"and he gave me a long kiss, said ttyl and walked away with a happy smile. Does he love me back?

You said i love you to him for first time. It might have surprised him with his action sure does seems he does love you. He just didn't knew about his feelings yet.
