My right hand will cramp up really bad almost like the nerves are out of control, causing them to almost curl up and not go back straight with pain. Anyone know of the cause?

If your right hand is the hand you use for your mouse, it could be a result of overuse, repetitive stress injury. Also, if you are Norwegian, there is a genetic problem that seems only to affect them, which has symptoms similar to what you describe. Try not using the mouse so much, using the Tab and arrow keys to navigate when possible. Or, if there are other things you do with your right hand that aggravate the pain, try to avoid them. It would be a good idea to have a doctor look at it, since it could be a nerve or connective tissue problem that requires medical intervention.

    • I get this a bit when playing guitar for too long on a cold night. I find it usually happens when I haven't had enough water to drink or salt in my diet. A little sodium does do wonders for cramping up.

      Good luck!
