My daughter is not colour blind but sometimes gets yellow-blue the wrong way round. Are there any recorded cases of colour blindness among females?

    It is possible for a female to be color blind. There are three prevailing types of color blindness. The yellow blue type is not the most common but it does occur. The most common type of color blindness is the type that makes differention between red and green difficult. Most optometrists can test your daughter and tell you if she is color blind.
