Do you think politicians should write their own speech's?

    If not all, I think they should at least write their own major speeches. How can I be sure that I am learning something about them through their speeches and not something about someone else I'm not electing? I really think if not they should at least credit the author at the end of the speech if they really cannot find the time.

    • thats what i think its just it seems so impersonal that they hire people to do this classic example John Kerry if he wrote it probably never would have said mean things that destroyed his political career i dont hate him just think he should have at least previewed it but dont support him either

    • I'd never heard that about Kerry, interesting, either way I swear it's a pet peeve of mine, I wish they'd stop.

    • ran against baby bush for president might have spellt name wrong but made nasty comment that if you were uneducated you will end up in Iraq in military fired the dude who wrote it and made public apology

    • LOL, can't believe that was said and he didn't catch it ahead of time! I bet that upset alot of people....I don't get why what amounts to plagiarism is pretty much not okay anywhere else but in politics!
