Question

Help answer this question below.

I don't dislike other people, and I can get along fine with almost everybody, but I don't like people to drop in on me. I am almost always doing something I find more interesting than my company. I feel guilty about this. Does anyone else feel this way?

You can't turn people off and on like a water faucet. As you get to know each other, you could bring this subject up at an appropriate time to avoid any hurt feelings in the future.
