I think that the existing "please don't rate this question" or "please no points" is a good workaround to avoid the work of coding this feature.
I have not seen it very often lately, though.
So, I guess that new Facebook "Like" thing under answers is true. Does it give you a headache? Shouldn't Answerbag go back to + and -?

You're reading (fantasizing here) I would like an option for each user to check to not get points for a question or answer if they so desire. I would use it for my rare congratulatory questions and in other cases. What is your opinion of this?

I think it is a good idea but most people ignore it. One time recently it was not ignored and that was nice.
