Question

Help answer this question below.

I have a boyfriend, who at first was really nice to me and helped me finacially and when I was going through a bad divorce. Now he's changed, and he has hit me when things didn't go his way. Why do I still feel sorry for him?

I'm guessing that you feel obliged to him because he helped you financially - when actually he was buying himself a punching bag. Don't feel sorry for him, you need to be in survival mode. If hitting you is his reaction to frustration, then he really is a selfish, juvenile jerk, and you need to end this relationship before you get badly hurt. You've already survived a divorce, don't imagine that you need a man to make your way in this world!
