With his wife present, why does a husband tell a group of friends a negative story about his wife?

    It's insecurity, I actually found myself doing it to my husband, until he pointed it out to me... I guess it was a way to try and seem funny and fit in...
    I didn't actually mean any of it, but it was still a horrible thing to do and i regret it!
