Sorry, but the more a research LDS and it’s whole history to include trying to read and comprehend the Book of Mormons, the more I wonder why so many people follow it. I am trying, trust me I am.

I have to dis agree with Glenn. First, he does not answer the question.
Second, his comments are false and fictional.
As the Book of Mormon is not a valid allegory for any real life event or writings.
Plain and simple, it is a book of fiction.
