More and more employers are asking the question Have you ever been terminated or resigned from a job in lieu of termination on their job applications if you lie and say no when it is yes is there a way they can find out you lied I am in the United States

    Only by asking your former employer. Former employers are most often only going to answer if they would consider rehiring you, for fear of getting sued.

    If they do find out, you could be fired. If they find out and don't fire you, they can't fire you later without risk of you suing them.
