Help answer this question below.

Is having a gas leak the same as having carbon monoxide poisioning? Will a CM detector detect a gas leak like from a gas stove?

    NO...! a Carbon Monoxide detector detects CO ... Commercial gas on the other hand is a different chemical (depends on what you're using - but is often butane) When you burn domestic gas you get Carbon Monoxide as a by-product
