Question

Help answer this question below.

A vendor friend wants to use our credit card machine for his sales. we would give him a check with info in memo section indicating it is his $....we would not report this amt as it is his income ..it would be in our records as stated ..is this proper.

Remember, it will be your business that shows up on the credit card bill. If these folks haven't authorized you to charge their credit card, they can contest the charge. If you have to give the money back, will your "friend" step up and give you back the money you gave him.
