Every now and then I see a small black particle in my urine. What is this?

    It could be several things
    1) Kidney stone
    2) Calcium deposit in the Urethera that has come off its surface

    3) Prostate Calculus. If you notice this more than once, and you have no kidney symptoms, it may be possible that these particles may be prostate calculi. Which essentially could be called kidney stones, though the concept of prostate calculi might be more akin to a blackhead....

    Regardless of what it is, you should get a sample and take it to your doctor.
