In addition to the answer posted earlier, there could be two other issues, the first being dehydration and the second being the ph level of your urine.

With regards to the first, when you are dehydrated your urine can become very concentrated. When you relieve yourself, a drop or two can stay in the urethera. The concentrated wastes will precipitate out and form very minicule films on the surface of the urethera. This buildup can cause irritation, especially if they are close to the holes where the prostate acini empty into the urethera...

When the ph level of the urine is out of balance, small amounts can irritate the same places where the acini of the prostate empty into the urethera.
