Question

Help answer this question below.

I am making my confirmation this tuesday. My mother was going to be my sponser, but we were just informed that this is not permitted. Is this true? Do they really have the right to keep me from my only role model in the religion?

    • see! I bet it's just my church! I personally think it is extremley unfair. They say to pick someone you want to fashion your life as a catholic after, and my mother is the only one. The others either don't attend church, are living with someone out of wedlock, are drunks, or weren't married in the church. And I refuse to be so pathetic as to use my CCD teacher or something wretched like that. Thank you for you answer. +4
