How do you fix a ping pong ball if it has a slight dent in it?

    The ball is air tight, so when you heat it, the air expands & the plastic softens just enough to allow the dent to be blown out. You need a source of heat, but not too hot, you don't want the ball to melt. Try a hair dryer set on high, and a set of gloves to hold the ball. I used to use the stove on low but ocasionally it melted a hole in the ball, if you do attempt this on a stove be care ful not to burn yourself, use tongs or something! Rotate the ball alot, keep it moving. This may not work if the ball has a particularly large dent ...but usually this will do the trick!
