If you have been offered work in the children's hospital at Randwick, take it...they will arrange quarters and all....that is a great place to be working...after your shift you can catch a bus down to the beach...only a short drive....many of the nurses there, when my daughter was there, were from the UK.

sydney's very worst temperatures would still be above zero ( about 2deg C)..no snow...it's pretty warm well into autumn...and if you like, you just head north to QLD in winter...tropical there!
