Video conferencing is very common in the legal field. Frequently, depositions need to be done where one or both parties cannot travel, for whatever reason or several people involved in a lawsuit, whether it be attorneys, clients, witnesses, experts, etc. wish to conference for preparation but meeting in person is not feasible.

In the corporate world video conferencing is also becoming more and more common as companies have various offices throughout the world and wish to have meetings concerning their business.

As technology improves and travel becomes more restrictive for various reasons, video conferencing is becoming more and more popular in the business community.

Anonymous: You are mistaken. In the legal field, of which I was a part for many, many years until just recently, video conferencing was VERY common. Again, my answer stands. The lower rating does not alter the fact that the answer is correct.
