Age requirements for cosmetic surgery are set by the states in which the procedure is to be done. Most require the patient to be of adult age (18) or have parental permission. Cosmetic surgery should not be performed on someone who is still developing. For example, most surgeons require that a patient be at least 13 for a rhinoplasty procedure. Individual requirements are also set by the surgeon performing the procedure.

    • Not so much. There are many many many cosmetic or reconstructive surgeries that are done on very young children.
