Shit Dave sorry to hear about your boy, i know you must be tearing your hair out but I'm sure all will be well. I lost a friend to a hit and run just over two years ago and know the pain and anxiety this brings with it! best of luck mate hope all turns out well!

It happened to my youngest brother a few years back..he was crossing the road, a guy was speeding, hit him, my brother hit the windscreen, driver, nothing...I hope your son gets the justice he deserves..

they havnt found the other driver yet - to be honest thats not daves first priority - he will let us know when he feels up to it, his son is currently very very poorly in hospital.

If only we could find a way to put a stop to these motor vehicle accidents.
I have had a good number of friends who had their loved dear ones involved in these accidents.
Your son will be okay, Pompey Dave. His age is on his side. He will come through this alright.
And don't go after the driver who hit the boy. Leave that to the cops. He must be hiding somewhere scared to death that he will be found. We hope he too is praying for the boy's recovery same as we are doing.
Do post updates about the boy's progress on the road of recovery...

I spoke to Dave earlier..everything is ok ..:O).they removed his son's spleen this afternoon, but seems to be doing fine .. Dave is in Portsmouth so cant get online much, he'll be back in a couple of days ..:O)
