New Zealand pass rates
3rd year high school (NCEA Level 1) 80 credits to pass.. atleast 12 in both english and math.
4th year high school (NCEA Level 2) 60 credits to pass.. 12 english credits required for uni entrance.
5th year high school (NCEA Level 3) 60 credits to pass.. this can be over a combination of 5 classes and if you gained over 60 credits in Level 2 then you can transfer some.
under the above 80, 60 & 60 credits you fail.. some result in high school drop outs. However it is better to aim for higher than the 80, 60, 60 and looks better when you get your record of learning.
