Jesus is currently deceased; therefore, He doesn't believe in anything. (Except from a Christian paradigm, wherein he is believed to have resurrected from the dead.) Jesus is said to have preached in favor of repentance during His lifetime.

I believe in repentance within oneself and to those you have wronged. I don't believe in repentance from a Christian perpective, wherein it absolves you of sin and the consequences of your actions. In Wicca, the consequences are coming anyway as a result of the Law of Return.

(You did put this under the general religion section.)

    • I respect your point of view, however I may disagree with some points, from a Christian perspective. I have both atheist and agnostic friends, and am always interested in what they have to say. What seems to separate us, basically, is that I do believe in an intelligent, and benign extrinsic absolute. Much of what you have said is true. Thanks for your time. It is interesting that you have, at least, some basis for believing that repentance is possible, both in yourself and for others. Many Christians, it seems, don't find room in their theology for that. Interesting.
